“We had a wonderful experience with Eivan's! We did tons of research prior to selecting our photography & videography packages. Their 10-hour package for both photo and video was way more affordable than other companies. They had good reviews, so we went for it! I did worry about whether we cheaped out (the whole "you get what you pay for" mentality), but I'm so happy to say that our wedding photos are absolutely stunning and we were really pleased with the video. I appreciate how you can offer feedback on editing. I was not a fan of the first photographer they matched us with (just stylistic differences) - and the Eivan's team worked through the weekend to find us an alternative. We were so relieved! Pro tip: Just in case we didn't like how the video was cut together, I also asked for the raw footage in our initial contract and they provided it at no additional cost. The basic package includes a 30-60 minute video but our videographer took almost 11-hours of footage - we wanted it all! I was very grateful to the company for accommodating our request. All in all, the only area you feel "you get what you pay for" is the timeline post-wedding. It takes a long time for you to get access to the high-res imagery without watermarks. But we are being patient and not spending extra to get them before the holidays! We figure, we'll have these beautiful photos the rest of our lives, what's three months? When you know this ahead of time it'll help to manage expectations and you won't be peeved like so many nutty brides out there who left bad reviews because of it. Thanks Eivan's!”

“George Street answered my wedding day prayers! As a NYC bride I instantly got sticker shock with the starting prices of NY based wedding photography (that didn’t even include videography). I searched high and low for something more affordable, however I wasn’t willing to sacrifice quality as wedding photography was a top priority for the big day. My dreams came true when I found George Street as they had reasonable prices and a wide variety of local talent. George Street let me view the portfolios of several photographers, they all had stunning photojournalistic style photos. We ultimately selected our photographer who ended up taking the most gorgeous and sentimental photos. Our album is stunning and George Street finished editing the photos so much faster than quoted. The videography team was also extremely professional and talented. We managed to get a social teaser, highlight reel, and full length feature video from George Street. “When we started planning our wedding, finding the perfect venue felt overwhelming. That’s where Mostest came in and completely saved the day. Thanks to their Venue Match service, we found our dream spot—the Prospect Park Boathouse. It was exactly what we envisioned: beautiful, intimate, and full of charm. Mostest made the process so easy by narrowing down options based on our style and budget, which saved us hours of research and back-and-forth on quotes. My favorite part of the service was contract review, where they breakdown each line of the contract so nothing surprised us. We also used their Day-of Coordination, and honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect when they recommended a Junior Coordinator too. Our wedding had two locations—ceremony and reception—and having a point person at each site was a total game-changer, so I'm glad they guided us. It meant everything ran smoothly, and I didn’t get bombarded with questions or last-minute details. The Junior Coordinator handled all the logistics at the ceremony while the lead coordinator managed things at the reception. If your budget allows it, splurge for this add on for sure. “We absolutely loved working with The Hook Club. Our amazing planner, Greenhouse Events, recommended THC, and we were sold immediately after meeting with Dan. He is super relaxed, nice, and so knowledgable. Dan and THC team made planning super easy for us. They took time to hear about our hopes and helped recommend different band sizes for us. We hadn’t heard of a DJ band before, but loved the idea of some live music with the versatility to play all sorts of music, but our venue wasn’t very big and we also didn’t want to break the bank and hire a huge band. We chose the 4 piece DJ band with singer, sax, drums, and DJ. We knew we LOVED the sax, so we also had the sax play for cocktail hour (shout out to Elijah, who was amazing), and it was one of the best parts of the night. For planning music, they sent out a very detailed and thorough spreadsheet with more songs than one could imagine, and we could rate ones we liked the most, choose ones we definitely wanted or didn't, and choose specific songs for important moments. We met a couple times to review music choices as well. One of our biggest fears with a DJ was that they'd talk too much and be a little annoying, but Dan did a great job as MC, and was very low-key like we asked but announced important moments clearly. Dan and all the musicians had such great energy and got everyone on the dance floor. Our vocalist, Christen, was also amazing — her voice was spectacular, and she was such an amazing performer and got everyone involved in the music and dancing. So many people told us how much they loved the music and the energy, and had never heard of a DJ band but thought it was an amazing concept and the addition of live music over tracks added extra excitement and fun. THC also helped out with lighting (uplights and dance lights), and worked with our fantastic planner and the venue to help us decide the best setup. Ultimately, we loved working with THC. Their DJ-band setup is unique and adds so much variety to your music while allowing for some of the energy that comes from live performers. We danced the night away and had an absolute blast. 100% would recommend THC to anyone!”

Scott was equally communicative & organized. He set up multiple calls throughout the process, and was super flexible with us when we had to change our venue & timeline 3 weeks before the wedding. I sent Scott some specific songs, but also shared my Spotify playlists, and he made sure the entire night was popping! The dance floor was full all night, as Scott played banger after banger. He really nailed my music taste! And Javier made the photobooth so fun for my guests! Our wedding day felt like pure magic, and it is truly thanks to the incredible team at this wedding venue. Our guests were in awe of the space, and we received so many compliments regarding the décor, drinks, food, photographer and overall experience. My husband and I put a lot of time and research into finding the right wedding venue for us, and we walked away from our wedding day with a feeling of pride for our selection, and gratitude for the support we received. We looked at venues across three states. It was a little overwhelming and emotional, knowing that the venue would dictate so much of our time as an engaged couple and ultimately, our one wedding day. Bakers Ranch immediately stood out to us, it was an all-inclusive wedding venue that would eliminate some stress of planning. It had a gorgeous green backdrop of ancient oaks and rich foliage. It had Jeremy, a wedding planner that was calm, reassuring, honest and unlike any wedding professional we had met in our search. We booked the first available Saturday the following year almost immediately. I was also an extremely detail-oriented bride, straight down to the plates, the handmade table cards, and a personal note for each attendee. But it was all perfect. The decor, the flowers, the cocktails, the food, the week before, the day before, the day of, were all a dream. Everything that I communicated was heard. The planning process was very organized— lots of thoughtful communication on what pictures we wanted, moments to be sure to capture, etc. The entire day ran smoothly, and we were very happy with the shots the photographer and videographer were taking (all the fun getting-ready pics, first look, etc).
